This accolade places Twin Oaks among the top five best-designed senior living communities in the country, distinguishing it in a competitive field dominated by large national developers ## A Vision Realized Founded by local developer Marty Miller, Twin Oaks Hollister was conceived as a thoughtfully designed, resort-style neighborhood tailored for active adults. The community comprises 168 smart-sized, single-story homes, each within a short walk of The Cannery Club—a 4,500-square-foot clubhouse that serves as the heart of the community. The Cannery Club features a junior Olympic-sized pool, fitness and movement studios, bocce and pickleball courts, a culinary studio with a teaching kitchen, a lounge with a fireplace loggia, and even a self-serve pet spa ## National Recongnition The PCBC Gold Nugget Awards, now in their 61st year, honor design and planning excellence across various categories, including community and home design, green-built housing, and specialty housing. Winners are selected from hundreds of entries worldwide, and being named a finalist is a testament to Twin Oaks Hollister's innovative approach to senior living. ## Community Impact Twin Oaks Hollister has become a vibrant part of the local community, hosting events such as an Artisan Craft Fair and partnering with local businesses for various activities.
